uhhhh chaos emeralds.
split weeks into "episodes" like an anime series, spend first few setting up world, introducing characters, etc, have a big boss battle every few weeks. Throw in some camping/beach/etc episodes.
Random monster fights... Fair grounds, dates, shopping trips... what do girls do again
Maybe have a big Persona 3 style dungeon for battling in... Always have something to do, level up opportunities...
1 year story? As fun as it would be, doing a princess maker style age-up system would take a lot of work.
character portraits rendered in Live2D style layers?? Easy to reuse animations, allows costumes to be customisable, etc. Solution - Cute2d
Calculate at end of day? Week? Have physical growth (height, weight, etc) as well as stats, influenced by diet/activities?
